The Ledyard Fire Company is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, which means all of our programs and community efforts are funded entirely through the generous donations of our supporters.
These donations help us do many important things, including participating in community events, sponsoring the town youth league teams, supporting other organizations, and hosting or attending a variety of events throughout the year.
As a volunteer-based organization, our members dedicate their time, energy, and skills to protect and serve the community, often putting themselves in challenging and sometimes dangerous situations. Supporting the Ledyard Fire Company directly supports these brave volunteers who make our work possible.
While the town owns and maintains our building, covering all facility related expenses, our programs and community initiatives rely entirely on contributions from people like you.
Our largest annual fundraiser is a mailout sent to all residents in the Ledyard district, and every dollar received goes directly back to the company and our volunteers.

If you would like to make a donation to the Ledyard Fire Company outside of our scheduled fundraising efforts, you are welcome to mail or drop off a check at any time. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference and directly supports the volunteers who dedicate their time and skills to keeping our community safe.
While financial support is invaluable, the most impactful way to help is by filling out an application under the “Membership” tab to join our team or by spreading the word to potential volunteers.
