There are three basic membership categories for the fire company. The first would be our active members. These members are the core of our response force. Being voted into active membership allows you to be an emergency responder in one of four categories:

Firefighter

Fire Police

Apparatus Driver

EMS Responder

The second category of membership is our associate members. These members are members of the community who wish to be involved as supporters of the company, but do not desire or are physically incapable of responding to emergencies. These members participate on the many committees we have, including helping with our fundraising efforts and event planning efforts and are able to hold administrative office positions. Even though you may not see these members at an emergency scene, they are the backbone of the company as an organization.

The third category of membership would be those who join or Cadet Firefighter Program. Teens ages 14-17 are eligible to join the fire company through our Cadet Program. They train along side our active members and learn about the fire service, while also being able to participate in any events the company may be attending or participating in. When the member turns 18, they can pursue active membership with the company if they would like to keep volunteering and become an active responder.

Everyone is eligible for membership in the fire company. The membership process begins by the completion of an application for membership. Applications can be downloaded and printed out following the link at the bottom of this page.
