The Ledyard Fire Company responded to a oven fire, upon arrival there was nothing showing and windows and doors were open, upon investigation we found a partially burned pizza box with a pizza in it, on the rack of the oven! Firefighters removed an oven rack to the outside and wet down a partially burned pizza box there was a very light smoke condition and it was removed by natural ventilation, occupants spoke to the Fire Marshal and we cleared the scene. There appeared to be no fire damage to the oven.
